I use photography to explore the atmosphere and detail of architectural space creating a set of pictures that have a gently narrative quality.
Central to my practice is a recognition of the beauty in materials, their unique texture and colour in reaction to natural light. Framed by an interest in psycho-geography, history, and anthropology, I understand photography as the ideal medium to interpret the close relationship architecture has with people and society.
Training in fine art has given me an eye for often-overlooked details and an evolving appreciation of aesthetics and style. With over fifteen years of professional experience and specialisation in architecture and design, I bring a comprehensive understanding of image making and composition to all projects.
